The First Layer is a concentrated botanical face oil made with organic rosehip seed, pomegranate seed, sea buckthorn, jojoba and tamanu oils.

Each oil was thoughtfully selected to support the skin’s moisture barrier and leave the complexion feeling soft, supple and replenished. Its lightweight texture makes it easy to wear on its own or as the first step in the Call Me June layering ritual.

Although created primarily for the face, The First Layer Face Oil can be applied anywhere on the body where skin needs additional nourishment.
How to Use

Apply a few drops to clean, slightly damp skin. Gently press the oil into the face and neck until absorbed.

Use it on its own or follow with The Last Layer Barrier Balm to help seal in moisture. Apply morning, evening or whenever your skin needs additional conditioning.

A little goes a long way. Begin with a small amount and add more as needed.

We recommend applying it to clean, slightly damp skin. This helps the oil seal in the moisture already present on the skin and makes it easier to spread using only a small amount.
Will the oil feel greasy?

The First Layer Face Oil is deeply conditioning but formulated to absorb without feeling overly heavy. Begin with a few drops and add more only when needed.
Do I have to use it with the Barrier Balm?

No. The First Layer can be used on its own as a facial oil. Follow it with The Last Layer Barrier Balm when you want a richer, more moisture-sealing finish.
Can I use it anywhere besides my face?
